Buy local, buy handmade in Akron Ohio on Sunday, August 14 from 12:00pm – 11:30pm at Studio 526 (526 Grant Street, Akron, OH). It’s free to attend!
Doors open at Noon for your chance to buy some really great handmade items from local makers which will include: Island of Monsters, Keyhole Gallery, Ossuaryarts, The Lovely Wrecks, Beethings Studio, Tines to Treasures, Lu Owl Vintage, Terra Verde Soap, Toony Jewelry, Liza Rifkin, Kristi Linville, Leah Kinnan, Craig and Heather Wargowsky, and of course, yours truly, zween!
At 7 pm the bands go on ($5 suggested donation for the show). So come out and listen to Joe Penzvalto, Ashley Brooke Toussant, Oldboy, and Shivering Timbers.
There will also be free a free yoga demo from 2-3 pm, art and craft demos throughout the day, and food and drink from North East Ohio’s finest including sausages and perogies for sale outside from “The Perogie Lady” of Akron, as well as pizza by the slice and some baked goods available. Come on out, Akron, Ohio!
