Every morning, well almost every morning, I make my husband Jon a breakfast that looks pretty much like this; two fried eggs (hot sauce on the side), two pieces of toast, a glass of milk, and once in a while a piece of fruit. He likes it. It makes him happy. So naturally, he wanted me to recreate his breakfast as a felted pin. He originally wanted a piece or two of felted bacon with his eggs, even though we never have bacon at home. Surprisingly, bacon is kinda hard to represent in felt. Maybe it’s the small size or the fact that I just don’t have bacon color fleece, but it just wasn’t happening. I even tried to make a piece of toast instead, which you would think would be very simple, but that didn’t even turn out quite right. So for now he just has two lonely fried eggs.
